Liverpool 2 - 3 Manchester United
What a difference from the match against Liverpool last weekend. This time there was goals scored on both sides in a game in which a draw would simply not do.
Salah opened the scoring for the visitors but their lead would only last for less than 10 minutes before United’s Academy graduates showed them who was boss and leveled the score thanks to Greenwood. United would take the lead in the second half thank to Rashford before Salah once again leveled the score. Henderson came up big in multiple occasions to deny Salah what would have been a historic hattrick at Old Trafford.
Bruno would once again prove by he is a fan favorite after scoring a magnificent freekick to ensure that United would get their first win against Liverpool since 2018. What made this win even sweeter is that it kicked Liverpool out of the FA Cup race.
United are now set to face off against either West Ham or Doncaster Rovers in the fifth round
